We have an opening for an entry-level Equipment Sales Representative. This position is responsible for sales, marketing and business development activities including new client acquisition, client growth and retention, referrals, requests for proposals (RFPs), pitches and competitive intelligence research for products and services. The performance of the role will be evaluated by the ability to generate qualified opportunities and the ability to build relationships with new clients. Recent college graduates and entry-level professionals are encouraged to apply. No experience required. 


  • Drive results by aggressively prospecting, generating and qualifying leads and working those leads through-out the lifecycle of the opportunity
  • Develop a pipeline of opportunities and achieve quarterly and annual business goals. Receive and process sales inquiries, sales orders and claims via phone, fax or e-mail in a timely manner. Manage own set of leads, handling the process from start to finish, following up on all inquiries, determine viability based on sales criteria including volume and margin
  • Facilitate customer negotiations, including contracts, both new and existing, sales quotations and pricing
  • Accurately and expediently respond to technical questions from clients 
  • Consulting on the technology principles and criteria will be a daily part of this role
  • Maintain an in-depth understanding of the division requirements through research and regular meetings and engagements with customers, vendors and business partners an network within the med device and healthcare space to generate new contacts 
  • Promote and deliver presentations (in person or by phone/web) for current and potential customers and business partners. Engage with customers to explore their situations and needs, probing underlying issues that may suggest broader solutions that advance the sale and gain customer acceptance and commitment
  • Utilize the database to track commercial projects that may be sold to the medical device industry
  • Provide regular consulting by reporting and analysis on sales goals, sales activities and customer engagement
  • Actively participate in business development meetings to discuss continual process improvements, quality management, problem resolution, current and future opportunities. 
  • Proactively bring issues to the table and surface ideas for discussion and implementation.
  • Assist in the formulation of sales approaches and promotional activities through marketing, advertising, PR and social media strategies.
  • Help develop personal and company-wide annual sales budgets by analyzing customer and industry data and market trends

  • Sales acumen - knowledge of the principles and methods for showing, promoting, and selling products or services. This includes marketing strategy and tactics, product demonstration, sales techniques, and sales control systems
  • Complex problem solving - identify complex problems and reviewing related information to develop and evaluate options and implement solutions


  • Bachelor's degree in Sales, Marketing, Business, Communications, Advertising, Liberal Arts or related field.
