We are currently recruiting an entry-level Financial Adviser. If you're someone that enjoys helping people through a consultative approach and has strong interest in financial growth and financial security then this could be the position for you. This financial adviser will act as an intermediary between our company and customers and provide financial guidance and make recommendations on how your clients can best utilize their money. The ideal candidate will be able to research marketplace on available products and services, identify customers' needs, design financial strategies and close a sale.

Responsibilities

  • Offer tactical advice across a variety of financial products and services (debt management, cash management, insurance coverage, investments)
  • Analyze information and evaluating results to choose the best solution and solve problems
  • Evaluate the financial status of your clients, understand their needs and develop a solid financial plan to guide them towards profitable and secure financial decision
  • Contact prospective customers to present information and explain available services
  • Nurture client base and build relationships as well as network, generate leads and grab opportunities to sell mutual funds, stocks, bonds etc. to meet sales quotas
  • Determine customers' financial services needs and prepare proposals to sell services that address these needs
  • Sell financial services, such as loan, tax, and securities counseling to customers of financial institutions and business establishments
  • Prepare forms or agreements to complete sales
  • Use logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions or approaches to problems
  • of new industry developments and research current marketplace to stay current on financial consulting
  • Manage the course of financial plan and update it, if necessary, to ensure profits and comply with all industry rules and regulations
  • Develop prospects from current commercial customers, referral leads, or sales or trade meetings

  • Relationship building - establish and maintain interpersonal relationships by developing a constructive and cooperative working rapport
  • Sales and marketing expertise - knowledge of principles and methods for showing, promoting, and selling products or services. This includes marketing strategy and tactics, product demonstration, sales techniques, and sales control systems
  • Communication - express ideas clearly in both written and verbal correspondence, listen effectively, and share information appropriately with persons inside and outside the organization
  • Integrity - adhere to a strong moral and ethical code in compliance with organizational principles
  • Persuasive - convince others to change their minds/behavior by providing compelling advice or information. Be able to "sell" an idea, product or action

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Interest in learning about investing, basic finance and economic principles, financial markets, banking and the analysis and reporting of financial data
